KLM is offering a European sale from London Heathrow Airport. Travel to big European cities including a great many capitals, as Athens, Copenhagen and Madrid. Prices start at £ 85 (ca. € 95) inclusive of taxes and surcharges. Travel between March 29 and June 30, with a maximum stay of a month, and a minimum of three days.

Delta Air Lines has announced a sale on flights to Europe from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. Return fares are available from $ 398 (ca. € 313) to destinations as Athens, Lyon and Rome. Purchase seven days in advance and stay a minimum of one Saturday night as your destination. Travel until April 2. Book by March 2.

United Airlines is also offering a sale from the US to Europe. Travel from numerous American cities, including Chicago, Denver and Washington to European destinations Berlin, London and Istanbul amongst others. Fares are available from $ 112 (ca. € 88). Discounted airfares are valid on flights operating from Monday to Thursday. For spring travel between April 1 and May 15, you must book by March 9, while summer travel between May 16 and September 12 must be booked by March 11.

Norwegian Air Shuttle has announced that they will launch a new Croatian flight from its home base at Oslo International Airport. The new flight is set to operate to Rijeka from June 22.

easyJet has announced 13 new routes set to begin operating during the spring. From London Gatwick Airport routes will be launched to Bodrum (Turkey), Munich, Vienna and Zurich. We will also see new routes from Manchester to Dalaman (Turkey), Lyon and Pisa, from Paris Orly to Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Faro, and from Milan Malpensa to Dubrovnik, Heraklion, Rhodos and Split. Finally, we will get a new easyJet route between Berlin Schoenefeld and Cagliari.

Air Berlin has announced that they will launch a new flight from Germany to the Swedish Capital Stockholm. The route is set to operate from Hanover to Stockholm Arlanda, and will operate four times weekly from April 20.

The Czech Republic Airline SmartWings will launch a route from its base at Prague to Croatian city Split. The route is set to be operated weekly from the month of June.

SAS has a special offer for passengers wishing to fly to Stockholm from London Heathrow, London City and Manchester Airport. The Nordic airline is offering a free city card worth £ 30 (ca. € 34) when buying a return ticket. The offer includes free public transportation, free entry to 75 museums and tourist sites in Stockholm. Travel between March 1 and April 30.

Air Baltic has announced that they will increase frequency of flights from their home base at Riga. Come summer season, the Latvian airline will increase frequency on flights to Aalborg (Denmark), Almaty (Kazakhstan),  Chisinau (Moldova), Istanbul, Kaliningrad (Russia), Moscow, Odessa (Ukraine), Palanga (Lithuania), Simferopol (Ukraine), Tallinn (Estonia), Tel Aviv and Yerevan (Armenia).

MyAir will launch new routes from its home base at Rimini. The Italian airline will launch weekly flights to both the Romanian capital airport at Bucharest Baneasa and the French capital airport at Paris Charles de Gaulle. Both flights will make their debut on May 8.

In other news concerning Italian city Rimini, Air Berlin will launch a new summer flight thereto on June 27 from their base at Basel in Switzerland. The German airline will also launch two new flights from their base at Berlin Tegel. From April 26, the airline will launch new flights to Oslo International and Krakow.

Ryanair has announced that they from April 21 will launch a new service between Swedish capital’s Stockholm Skavsta Airport and French Toulon. The route is set to operate twice weekly.

Singapore Airlines has announced that they by March 2010 will have cut 11 per cent of its flights. This comes as an answer to poor advance bookings and the global financial crisis. Amongst the cuts are reduced flights to the US, as well as complete termination of all Vancouver flights.

Delta Air Lines is offering flights from New York to Africa on sale. Destinations include Cairo, Dakar and Accra, with prices from $ 329 (ca. € 261) for one-way fares, though they are based on a return fare purchase. Travel until April 2, with a minimum stay of one Saturday night, and an advance booking requirement of seven days. Book no later than February 23.

Qantas has announced that they will add an extra airplane to its services between Los Angeles and Australia. The Australian airline has been operating five Airbus A380’s so far, but will add one extra from June 9.

Cimber Sterling has re-opened the route between Aalborg and Malaga, which has not been operated since Sterling folded last year. Cimber Sterling will operate the route once weekly, on Saturdays. Come April 4, Norwegian will launch the exact same route.

Swiss International Airlines has launched a continental sale with discounted return fares available to locations all over Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Destinations include Casablanca, Phuket and Sharm el Sheikh amongst many other exotic locations. Fares are available from £ 181 (ca. € 204). Travel until January 2010.

Bmibaby has announced that they will increase frequency and add new flights to the Mediterranean during the summer months. From Birmingham International Airport, the airline will increase the number of weekly flights to Alicante, Malaga and Murcia. From Manchester Airport they will launch a new service to Palma, while East Midlands Airport will get new flights to Almeria and Mahon.
In other news, bmibaby made known that they will launch a new route to Newquay. The route will be a summer route, operating four times weekly between May 22 and September 20. The route will operate from Birmingham International Airport.

Clickair is ready to launch a new seasonal flight between two Spanish destinations. The route will operate thrice weekly between Bilbao and Mahon from July 1.
