British Airways Opens For Text Messaging On Flights

   

British Airways has revealed that Business class travellers will soon be able to benefit from in-flight internet and text messaging on its London City Airport to New York JFK Airport route. It will offer text messaging, as well as the capacity to send emails via the internet from laptops fitted with mobile data cards. Voice calls will not presently be allowed.

Norwegian will stop operations from Oslo to Moscow from February 9th and Aeroflow cut back their operations on the same route. Norwegian will continue to operate two weekly flights between Oslo and St. Petersborg.

Danish carrier CimberSterling will begin operating between Copenhagen and Edinburgh on a twice weekly basis during the winter and three times weekly during the summer.Fares will start as low as ca. 200 DKR (GBP 25) one-way and including taxes and surcharges.

Stayover a Saturday night and fly with BMI to various destinations - both domestic and international. Return flights Edinburgh and Glasgow to Leeds start at £80 return and to Manchester at £90 return; whilst East Midlands to Brussels and Cologne start at £109 return.
