European Expansion From Easyjet.

   

Qatar Airways will launch new connecting flights from the capital of Qatar, Doha, to the Seychelles. Flights are offered from London Heathrow and Gatwick as well as Manchester Airport. The connections will run during the Christmas and New Year period.

Flybe will close down its base at Norwich Airport from March 2009. They are set to close their route to Dublin, and move the flight operating the service between Norwich and Edinburgh to their base at Edinburgh aiport.

easyJet will launch several new route from its base at London Gatwick. From March 31 the airline will begin operating a thrice weekly route to Larnaca. On May 1, they will launch daily flights to Naples as well as a four times weekly service to Dubrovnik, and lastly, on May 3, a route to Santorini will begin running three times a week. Fares are available from £ 30.99 (ca. € 33).

Delta Air Lines has announced its plan to launch a flight connecting Detroit and Rome. Starting June 4, the route will operate to Rome’s Fiumicino Airport, with one-way tickets available from $ 699 (ca. € 484), exclusive of taxes and fees, if you book before December 24.
