US sale from Lufthansa.

en by Travel News  /  Thomas Bloom, 8. Sep 2008
Lufthansa has put many of its most popular routes to the US on sale. Destinations include New York, Orlando and Los Angeles amongst others, with return tickets starting from £ 356 (ca. € ), including all taxes, fees and charges. Travel runs from October 20 to March 26, 2009, with a minimum stay of seven nights or a Saturday night, and a maximum stay of a month. Book by September 28.

Following the takeover of BA Connect in 2007, Flybe felt the airline needed reduced capacity, prompting them to cut several routes from Manchester Airport. But they now feel the time is right to re-introduce some of these routes, and other new ones. Routes will begin operating to Madrid, Lyon, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Stuttgart.

Jet2.com will from May 2 2009 launch a new route between Newcastle and Split. The route will be operated on a weekly basis, with one-way tickets starting from £ 56.99 (ca. € ). When the service to the Croatian city is launched, it will mark the 13th route operated by Jet2.com from Newcastle International Airport.

Bmi has launched a business class only sale. Premium airfares have been discounted on many of bmi’s routes worldwide. If travelling to the US and the Caribbean a minimum stay of three days or a Saturday night applies, while if wanting to travel within the EU zone bookings must be made 21 days in advance. Travel until March 31, 2009. Book by September 30.
