Caribbean destinations include the popular islands of Barbados and Antigua. Travel between September 1 and October 15. Return tickets start from £ 296 (ca. € 375), including taxes and charges. Book by August 1.As long as the Lufthansa strike runs, FlyBe will increase capacity and frequency on its flights bound for Germany. About 5,000 employees of the German carrier have staged an indefinite holdout following a dispute of pay.Ryanair is for the first time in its history facing a deficit in this financial year. As many other airlines, this deficit is due to the enormous rise we have seen in the cost of oil this year. But here stops the comparison with other airlines. Ryanair has decided to, in difference to common behavior in these situations, to drop the price of its tickets by five percent. Though no precise date has been set for the change in price, Ryanair has announced that it will happen in this financial year.

In other news, Ryanair will expand its network of routes at Weeze Airport close to Dusseldorf. From October 27 new routes will be launched to Ancona, Birmingham, Dublin, Faro, Gothenburg Saeve, Manchester, Oslo Torp, Riga, Santander and Tenerife Sur.
