Sterling are set to raise their fuel surcharge.

en by Travel News  /  Thomas Bloom, 20. May 2008

Flybaboo, the Swiss low-cost airline, has announced that they will rebrand to just be called Baboo.

Centralwings will begin flights to the Norwegian city of Haugesund, with routes being operated from Polish bases in Gdansk and Warsaw. The routes will begin operating during the next week.

Norwegian Air Shuttle will launch new summer routes from their base at Oslo International Airport. The routes will go to Chania (Crete) in Greece from June 16 and to Larnaca in Cyprus from July.

As many other airlines, Sterling will now raise the fuel surcharge, due to the increase in oil prices. Although they have tried to avoid raising the surcharge, they will now introduce a raise in surcharge similar to competitors SAS and Norwegian. The increase in surcharge will take effect from the start of June, and will be around DKK 100 for international flights, and about half for domestic flights.
