Ryanair have announced their first domestic flights in Germany and France, both beginning in May. Routes will open between Marseille and Paris Beauvais in France, and between Berlin Schoenefeld and Frankfurt Hahn in Germany.
In other news, they are also ready to launch new flights from Nottingham East Midlands to Malaga, and Stockholm Skavsta to Rostock-Laage on June 4, Milan Orio al Serio to Trapani on July 2, and Alghero to Rome Ciampino on August 1.
easyJet has launched a new base at Lyon Saint-Exupery Airport today, April 4. At the same time they announced the launch of 5 new international routes, to Venice, Marrakech, Casablanca, Lisbon and Porto, as well as 3 domestic routes, to Biarritz, Bordeaux and Toulouse
Cimber Air are set to increase the frequency of flights on its route between Copenhagen and Newcastle. Starting on April 2, they will operate three extra weekly flights between the two destinations, upping the weekly total to 10.
In other news, Cimber Air will from April 27 change to a new type of plane on the routes Billund - Stockholm and Billund - Berlin. With the new plane, there will be 70 seats on the routes - and increase of 40 per cent from the old plane type.
Eastern Airways will increase their number of flights on a great deal of routes from the UK. Starting on Monday, April 7:
Leeds Bradford will have four daily departures to both Southampton and Aberdeen.
Newcastle to Cardiff will be operated thrice daily.
Manchester to London Stansted will have four daily services from Monday through Thursday.
