Sara Barron at The Bitter End
Last week on the subway I swear I saw a guy trying to hide his Dan Brown novel behind a battered cover for The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Good to see that book snobbery is still alive and kicking in the Kindle age. But no matter what tome you're really lugging around town, most trips to New York are just too short to really get a toehold on the literary scene. Your nights are limited, so do you really want to forgo an epic trawl of the Lower East Side for some worthy wordsmithery?
