&lt;p&gt;A small scratch will set you back anywhere between $50 and $250 depending on car model and country of rental.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Deductible waiver will usually set you back $5-15 per rental day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Would you rather pay $250 for a scratch or up to $700 deductible in case of larger damage?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You need that peace of mind. You&amp;#39;re on holiday. Spend the extra few dollars, and be worry free!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The prices of the flag carriers can barely compete with the lowcost carriers despite the extra costs and we had our fair share of bad experience with them as well with onboard flights departing before we arrive or boring and time-consuming stop-overs costing extra, but at least we&amp;#39;ve got the food for free, right? Wrong! You get, what you pay for...&lt;/p&gt;
