Post 911, one of the main tourist attractions in New York has become "Ground Zero".
It might be interesting to see this big hole in the ground on a
strictly historical perspective, but for your own sake, don't make it
a destination for your trip to New York. Maybe take a peek when you pop by Century 21 to make a great shopping deal, or when walking down to Battery Park for a brilliantly
entertaining trip with The Circle Line Boat around Manhattan, or even better; it is close to the best boat ride in New York on the Hudson River to Staten Island and back.
