Since 2006, Martin Selsoe Soerensen, has worked in Istanbul as Turkey correspondent for a Danish newspaper and one of the Danish public broadcasters. When he is not covering Turkey’s cumbersome, but continuous progress, he plunges into the vibrant restaurant and nightlife of Beyoglu, while trying to keep track of all the new cafés, restaurants and bars popping up almost weekly.
