EVA is punctual and safe. Everything else pretty horrible. If your in first class they treat you wonderful but anything else and they are rude. EVA continues to take space from economy to give to the individual apartments (first class) in the front. The flight conditions are barely humane. Oh and the food is also pretty bad-even for airlines.
Fantastic crew!! Great business seats! Bring your own sweets though as those choices are not great and need improvement.
I requested aisle seats when I booked the flight. My request was ignored.
On-time flight with easy check-in and good cabin service. Short flight (2.5hrs) which did have in-flight lunch meal. No seat-back entertainment system (or phone charging) but did have drop-down monitors above the seats for those wanting to watch the movie that was available.
The flight was delayed and the boarding gate was changed. Last-minute changes to ensure a full flight resulted in a request for a volunteer to disembark. The crowded site around the gate was so congested that the overworked agents pleaded for people to go sit down so that incoming passengers could disembark. The only problem was that there was nowhere to sit in the crowded area of Gate C.. Once aboard, There was a single pass-through with snacks but no meal. No onboard entertainment or even headphones. Although I had a premium seat, the hip of the very large person in the middle seat touched mine constantly throughout the flight. My baggage got lost and at this point, 24 hours after arrival, only one of my 2 pieces has been located and nothing delivered. Some of this mess is not Alaska Air’s fault, but it was by far the worst experience of the 8 flightsI had during the past 3 weeks. I hope to see my belongings again. I will do my best never to fly through Seattle again on this airline.
